HIRE QUESTIONS
- Is a bucking bull or rodeo bull the same as a mechanical bull?
- Yes. Bucking bull hire, rodeo bull hire and mechanical bull hire describe the same type of ride. FTC supplies a mechanical bull with an inflatable arena and an operator who controls the ride. We deliver, set up, operate and pack down for parties and events in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and across Queensland, with travel confirmed for your venue.
- How long is the hire and what does it cost?
- Mechanical Bull Hire is $1,000 for 3 hours. Additional hours are $150/hour. Put extra hours in the notes and we confirm them with the booking.
- When is the deposit due?
- A 25% non-refundable deposit ($250) is emailed only after FTC confirms the date is available. Paying it secures the booking. This page does not take payment. The balance is invoiced and must be paid in full before delivery and setup.
- Where do you hire, and is there a travel charge?
- Additional travel charges may apply. We hire across Queensland, Australia, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast. Nationwide by arrangement. Call 0406 083 619 to discuss.
- What should I check with my venue before requesting hire?
- Tell us your date, suburb, event hours and how the rig will reach the setup area. Check the available space, power and venue permission, and discuss an undercover alternative for outdoor events. FTC reviews site suitability before confirming. Setup and pack-down are outside the booked operating period; weather conditions are explained in the hire terms.
- Can riders wear shoes on the mechanical bull?
- No. Shoes, boots, heels, thongs and other footwear must be removed before entering the inflatable riding area. Socks or bare feet only, subject to the operator's direction. The operator controls each ride and may refuse participation when conditions or rider behaviour are unsafe. See the mechanical bull hire terms for the full rider rules.
