Wheelie Machine Hire Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Booking & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Wheelie Machine hire supplied by Full Throttle Chaos (FTC, we, us or our). By paying a deposit or invoice, accepting a quote or booking, or allowing us to commence delivery or setup, the customer (you or your) accepts these Terms & Conditions. A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received in cleared funds and FTC has confirmed the booking.

2. Hire Period & Additional Time

Your booking confirmation will state the event date, location, operating period, inclusions and price. Setup and pack-down are additional to the booked operating period. Extensions are subject to FTC approval and operator availability. Unless otherwise quoted, additional operating time is charged at $100 per hour or part thereof once the booked finish time is exceeded by more than 15 minutes at the customer's request.

3. Deposit & Final Payment

A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the total booking value is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid in cleared funds no later than 7 calendar days before the event. Bookings made within 7 days require payment in full at confirmation. FTC is not required to dispatch, deliver, set up or operate the Wheelie Machine while any amount due remains unpaid.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made in writing. The 25% booking deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the event, amounts paid above the deposit may be refunded or transferred at FTC's discretion, less non-recoverable costs already incurred. If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event, the full booking price remains payable and non-refundable because the equipment and event date have been committed. Approved date changes are subject to availability and may attract revised travel or other charges.

5. Weather & Water Exposure

The Wheelie Machine has limited resistance to normal light moisture but is not represented as waterproof or suitable for unrestricted wet-weather operation. FTC and its operator have final authority to delay, pause, relocate or cease operation where rain, storms, lightning, pooling water, slippery surfaces, wind, electrical risk, water ingress or any other condition may affect participant, operator or equipment safety. Customer cancellation, shortened operating time or inability to operate because of weather does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund. A suitable undercover alternative is strongly recommended. Any date transfer is at FTC's discretion. Nothing in this clause limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Site, Access & Setup

You must provide accurate site and access information before the event. The setup area must be level, stable, reasonably clean and clear of hazards, with sufficient space for the Wheelie Machine, operator, participant access and required exclusion/safety areas. Safe vehicle access must be available for delivery and collection. You are responsible for obtaining any venue, property owner, council or event approvals required. Additional costs caused by incorrect site information, delays, difficult access or an unsuitable setup area may be charged.

7. Electrical Supply

Where mains power is required for the booked configuration, the customer must provide the electrical supply specified by FTC before the event. Power must be safe, compliant, accessible and protected from weather and public interference. FTC may refuse to connect to or operate from an electrical supply considered unsafe or unsuitable. Any alternative power arrangement supplied by FTC must be agreed before the event and may incur an additional charge.

8. FTC Operator & Safety Authority

The Wheelie Machine may only be controlled, adjusted or operated by an FTC-authorised operator. The operator's safety directions are final. FTC may change the operating intensity, refuse a participant, stop a session, suspend operation or terminate the service where a participant, spectator, site condition or behaviour presents a safety risk. Customers and attendees must not interfere with controls, stabilisers, electrical components, barriers, moving parts or safety equipment.

9. Participant Rules

One participant at a time unless FTC expressly approves otherwise. Participants must mount and dismount only when directed, keep hands and feet in the designated positions, and follow all operator instructions. No standing, jumping, stunts, intentional misuse, interference with moving parts or unauthorised adjustments are permitted. Loose clothing, jewellery, bags, phones and other items must be removed or secured when directed. Any helmet or other protective equipment required by FTC, the manufacturer or insurer must be worn correctly.

10. Footwear & Clothing

Closed-in footwear must be worn unless FTC directs otherwise for the particular machine setup. High heels, thongs, loose footwear or clothing that may catch, snag or interfere with safe operation are not permitted. FTC may require a participant to change or remove an item before participating.

11. Participant Fitness, Age & Minors

The Wheelie Machine simulates motorcycle wheelie movement and involves balance, movement and physical exertion. Each participant is responsible for deciding whether they are physically able to participate and must comply with any age, height, weight or other limits imposed by FTC, the manufacturer or insurer. A person who is pregnant, has a recent injury, significant back or neck condition, heart condition, seizure disorder or another condition that may be aggravated by the activity should not participate unless appropriately cleared by their medical practitioner. Minors must have the consent and supervision required by FTC and the event organiser.

12. Alcohol, Drugs & Behaviour

FTC may refuse participation to any person who appears excessively intoxicated, affected by drugs, aggressive, unable to follow instructions or otherwise unsafe to participate. Alcohol consumption does not reduce the obligation to follow safety directions. Abusive, threatening, reckless or unsafe conduct may result in immediate suspension or termination of the service without refund.

13. Event Supervision & Crowd Control

The customer or event organiser remains responsible for general event supervision, orderly queuing, crowd behaviour and keeping spectators outside designated operating and safety areas. FTC's operator is responsible for operating the Wheelie Machine and managing participation in the attraction, not for supervising the entire event or venue.

14. Damage, Cleaning & Customer-Caused Loss

You are responsible for reasonable repair, replacement, recovery or excessive cleaning costs resulting from deliberate damage, misuse, failure to follow instructions or other customer or guest conduct that causes loss to FTC. Fair wear and tear and equipment failure not caused by the customer or attendees are excluded.

15. Equipment Failure or FTC Cancellation

If FTC cannot provide the booked service for reasons within our reasonable control, we may offer a suitable replacement, rescheduled date, credit or refund for the affected service as appropriate. If a mechanical or electrical issue occurs during the event, the operator may suspend operation while attempting a safe remedy. Any adjustment for lost operating time will be assessed having regard to the circumstances and rights available under applicable law.

16. Liability & Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, each party is responsible for loss or damage to the extent caused by its own negligence, breach or wrongful act. FTC excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss to the extent such liability may lawfully be excluded.

17. Force Majeure

FTC is not liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, emergency directions, venue shutdowns, widespread power failures or similar events that could not reasonably have been prevented. FTC will act reasonably to minimise disruption and may discuss rescheduling or another appropriate outcome where circumstances permit.

18. Photography & Marketing

FTC may photograph or film its equipment and general event setup for operational or marketing purposes where lawful and appropriate. FTC will not intentionally use identifiable images of minors for marketing without appropriate consent. If you do not want identifiable event images used for marketing, notify FTC in writing before the event.

19. Privacy

Personal information supplied in connection with a booking may be used to quote, administer and deliver the hire, process and collect payment, manage safety and insurance requirements, and communicate about the booking. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy obligations and any privacy policy published by FTC.

20. Changes & Governing Law

Requested changes to the event date, location, operating hours, access or other material booking details are subject to FTC approval and availability and may result in additional charges. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
